Torassieppi Eco Reindeer Resort
In Torassieppi you will find a cabin village, an organic and local food restaurant, a reindeer farm with museum, husky farmand restaurant and AuroraHut accomodations. The original reindeer farm has a long history and it dates back to 1847.
If pure nature, clean food and natural wonders are close to your heart, Torassieppi is your destination both in summer and winter. Hiking trails start straight from the yard, restaurant services are available, and you can visit the reindeer and husky farms on guided tours. Location on the shore of Lake Torassieppi allows adventures on crystal clear waters, for example, on our canoeing trips.
Restaurant Torassieppi
Restaurant Torassieppi has 40-seats and it serves traditional Finnish cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant focuses on serving organic and local food, which is based on reindeer meat, fish from nearby lakes, berries and mushrooms.
Torassieppi has been awarded with the Green Key Certificate. As a destination it binds 12 times more carbon than it produces. Read more
