Äijäkoski Rapids

Äijäkoski is one of the most spectacular and fastest flowing rapid water sections of the Muonionjoki River. The shore embankment is a great viewing point and is easily  reached.

There is also a campfire site  close by the viewing point, a short walk along the  path to the south.

Äijäkoski is located less than 7 km south of Muonio town center along the Torniontie road E-8.

The municipality of Muonio is responsible for the site.
